Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This page explains the information to confirm when enquiring about or booking car transport and relocation services through cartransportchennai.in. Read it alongside your written quote, booking confirmation and any applicable transport or insurance documents. If a point is unclear, ask the booking team before paying or handing over your vehicle or goods.
Enquiries and booking confirmation
A call, email or website form submission is an enquiry. It does not reserve a carrier space or confirm a pickup slot by itself. The booking team needs the car model and condition, collection and delivery locations, preferred date and any other services requested before confirming the arrangement.
Confirm the name and contact details of the service provider, the person coordinating the move and the person authorised to receive the car. Ask for a written record of the agreed service and booking conditions. Do not assume that a service discussed for another route or another car applies to your booking.
Scope, charges and payment
Rates and transit information on this website are general guidance. The quote for your move depends on the actual vehicle or inventory, route, access, carrier arrangement and requested work. Confirm how long the quote remains valid and whether the amount includes the following:
- Collection from your address, loading, main transport, unloading and delivery to the receiving address.
- Taxes, any selected transit cover and charges for packing or additional handling.
- Any separate cost for a non-running car, restricted access, waiting, storage or a changed delivery arrangement.
The advance, balance-payment stage, accepted payment method and payee must be confirmed for your booking. Keep the written quote and payment receipts. If a payment request or account detail differs from the booking record, verify it through the booking contact before paying. Do not share an OTP or payment PIN.
If the car, addresses, inventory or scope changes, ask for the revised plan and any price difference in writing before the additional work proceeds.
Pickup, documents and vehicle records
Give correct information about the car and your authority to arrange its transport. Disclose a starting fault, brake issue, leak, modification, low ground clearance or other condition that may affect handling. Confirm which document copies and authorisation are needed for your particular booking before pickup.
Tell the team about narrow lanes, basement ramps, society permissions and restrictions on carrier entry. Agree the collection point and any local driving or towing arrangement before handing over the keys. Do not assume that a large carrier can enter every residential street.
Remove valuables, personal papers and loose belongings. Discuss luggage or household goods separately; do not assume they are accepted inside the car or covered under the vehicle's transport arrangement. Fuel or battery preparation should follow the agreed carrier instructions and the vehicle manufacturer's requirements.
At handover, record existing marks, the odometer, fuel level, keys and listed accessories on a condition report. Take clear dated photographs and retain the signed pickup record. If another person is handing over or receiving the car, confirm their details and the required authorisation in advance.
Transit timing and delivery
Collection, onward dispatch and final delivery are separate stages. Confirm the expected window for each and whether the booking includes any specific time commitment. An estimate should not be treated as a guaranteed arrival date unless that commitment is expressly agreed in the booking.
Road restrictions, weather, access problems and other operating conditions can affect the plan. If timing is important for your travel or work, explain the deadline before booking and ask how changes will be communicated. Keep the coordinator's contact details and the transport reference available.
Make sure the authorised receiver is available at the agreed point. Check the car against the pickup report before signing the delivery receipt. Record a visible difference or missing listed item on the receipt, take photographs and inform the booking contact promptly. Retain both handover records.
Rescheduling, cancellation and refunds
Cancellation charges, rescheduling conditions and refund eligibility must be explained in the written booking terms before payment. This website does not prescribe one fixed percentage or deadline for every route and service.
To request a change or cancellation, contact the booking team promptly and keep a written record with your booking reference and requested change. Ask for confirmation of the status of collection or dispatch, any applicable deduction, the amount payable or refundable and the expected processing arrangement. If an agreed pickup cannot proceed, ask for the available alternatives and the position on any payment already made.
Transit cover, damage and complaints
Do not assume that a vehicle's existing motor policy, a carrier's arrangement or an additional policy covers every stage of a move. Check with the relevant insurer or provider. If additional cover is offered, confirm the issuer, declared value, covered stages, exclusions, excess and claim procedure before accepting it.
For damage or another service concern, contact the coordinator and keep the quote, payment records, pickup report, delivery receipt, photos and correspondence. Follow the applicable reporting procedure and ask whether an inspection is needed before repairs. The position on liability or a claim depends on the booking, applicable cover and law; this page does not replace those documents or take away rights available under applicable law.
For assistance, call +91 7015480600 or email info@cartransportchennai.in, quoting the booking reference and explaining the concern.
Other relocation services
If your enquiry includes a bike, household goods, office items, packing, storage or pet relocation, confirm acceptance and the separate scope for those services. A car transport quote does not automatically include them. Provide the inventory, access details and handling requirements relevant to each part of the move.
Website information and updates
Use this website to make genuine enquiries and provide accurate contact details. The handling of enquiry information is explained in our Privacy Policy. External services or links may have their own terms.
This page may be updated as the website or booking information changes. Keep a copy of the quote and conditions agreed for your booking; a later website update should not be assumed to change an existing booking automatically. Ask the team to clarify any inconsistency before confirming the move.
